History Roar book (3)

5-Women made items for the home such as wall hangings, bed covers, cushions.
-Women wore Doric peplos that are wrapped around the body and fastened by pins at the shoulder .
-Men wore chitons
-Greeks went barefoot indoors only the lower classrs did so outdoors.
-Both men and women wore sandals.




4-Did the lower classes worked?
-Why was gold a short supply for the Greeks?
-Why didn't men wore a little bit of jewelry?
-How did women feel when they couldn't participate in almost anything?

His. Book (Crete)

5-Crete is regarded as the first European civilization.
-Women were loincloths that were like skirts.
-Men wore short skirts with belts decorated with spirals.
-Princes,the nobility, priests and priestesses, wore long gown, or chilton, made of bright-colored fabric
.-They were very clean with their bodies.


4-Who were the people specialized in doing shoes, boots and sandals?
-Did the Crete's like their clothing?
-How did they get the ideas from Egypt?
-Did Men care about how their bodies looked? (abs)

-embroidery:the art of working raised and ornamental designs in threads of silk, cotton, gold, silver
-silhouette:a two-dimensional representation of the outline of an object,

1-Crete had very typical clothing to Egypt but had more types of shoes and hair.

5-When alexander took over Egypt there style of clothing changed.
-Women wore Kalasiris, sheath dress made from tube material sewn along one side.
-Egyption clothing has been a source of inspiration for art and architecture for centuries.
-Egyptions were a lot of Jewlery whcih matched with there colorful clthing
Women covered up more than men did due to .
-men wore Schenti, a simple Kilt, made out of leather or hide.
4-Why did Egypt changed a lot of styles of clothing?
- Did they make their own clothing or did someone else do it for them?
-Did the egyptions ever had a hard time killing fleas, lice etc?
-Why did men wore make-up?

-permissible:that can be permitted
